Red Cross First Aid:
Blended learning- computer/ self-study required- tutoring available.

Literacy/Numeracy Improvement:
For ADULTS: individualized programs to help improve your ability and confidence in a variety of areas. Please call to set up a personalized program. Program will include 6, 1 hr session.

  • Reading Program-A bit rusty?  improve your reading speed, comprehension and fluency
  • Math Skills Program – Need better Math for work?  Call us to work on yourAddition and Subtraction/ multiplication and division – other math concepts can be included
  • Spelling Improvement Program- How do you spell that?  improve your spelling skills
  • Grammar Review Program- Write it right!: work on correcting poor grammar
  • Basic Budgeting: How much did I spend!! Learn skills for basic personal budgeting.

Computers Q&A  with Laura:
This class is offered to provide an opportunity for individuals to come and ask common computer questions. 
Please book in an appointment.

Basic Bookkeeping (Manual): (5 classes) Learn the basics of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
All materials provided (bring your own calculator if desired)

.Basic Office Skills Program:
This course is a comprehensive 6 week program that will instruct participants in the development of standard skills for working in an office environment.  Classes include computer skills, word, excel, emailing, customer service, basic book keeping, Quickbooks OR Sage accounting training etc.  Please call if interested
start anytime- Course completion will depend on your availability. Approx. time required is 12 weeks. 
$1000 ($200 required at course start- remaining can be paid in payments)
please note this is not a credited program, upon successful completion, participants will receive  a certificate of completion and a letter of reference.

End of Life Planning:

Not the most cheerful thing to think about, but knowing some facts about planning for death can possibly provide some piece of mind.  This information session will discuss what to consider in regards to death including funeral costs, burial/cremation, legal documents, wills and wishes etc.

Home Buyer Info Session:

Whether it’s your 1st time, 2nd time or a long time, this relaxed and informative session will broaden your understanding of the buying process while highlighting answers to question you may have.

House Maintenance checklist
Learn the basics of maintaining your home.  Get some tips and tricks for avoiding potential problems.

Relationship Communication Class: in person only

Would you like a happier, stronger relationship with your spouse? 

Based on the principles of the 5 Love Languages explore practical tools that will enhance your communications skills with loved ones.

This class will provide the outline for goal setting, prioritizing and planning the way to start making positive changes in your life.  Suited for lifestyle changes or fitness and health goals.

Positive Thinking Series:
Join us for reflection on ways to stay positive during our hectic day to day lives:  NOT RELIGIOUS BASED. Some topics included are Gratitude, Self-Acceptance, Forgiveness/Letting go, and Procrastination. WHEN: flexible class times

This workshop will explore how to set achievable goals and implement strategies to accomplish them.

Creating Spaces:
Do you want to update the look of a room/space in your house or office.  This class will give you some tips and to create the look you want.

Writing for FUN!!
Weekly writing session each week there will be a new writing topic and style.  Work on it and come back the following week for review. Work on correcting poor grammar or just join for the love of writing.
WHEN: Mons. 11am starts Oct. 17.

Chair Yoga- based Classes:
This class combines movement patterns and poses that help improve balance and strength. A great class for anyone including those that may have limited range of movement and mobility issues.

We are offering a 2 hour introduction to crochet that is suitable for all ages (adults must attend with children under 16).  Project is a dishcloth.

Canning and Pickling:
In this class we will demonstrate and have you start your own batch of pickles.  Participants will go home with 4 jars of product.

Beginner ASL :Learn to communicate in American Sign Language   
This is a 6 week introductory course.

WHEN:  Tues. Sept. 20-Oct. 25  6:30-8pm

ASL Session 2 :
Learn to increase your signing vocabulary to increase your skills and abilities to communicate in ASL.  This is a 6 week follow up class to the introductory sessions.

Conversational Spanish:
Some Spanish is required- practice speaking and listening, expand vocabulary.

Travelers Spanish:
Learn some common phrases and expressions to use during travels or with your Spanish speaking friends(5 Classes)

Beginner French:
Learn the basics of the French language including grammar and vocabulary. (6 weeks)

French -2:
This class is for those with some experience with French, not suitable for absolute beginners.  Continuation on the structure and vocabulary of the language.  (6 weeks)
