Brushing up on the Basics: 
For ADUTLS: individualized programs to help improve your ability and confidence in a variety of areas.

Please call to set up a personalized 12 session program. Each program is 12, 1 hr sessions:

Reading Program- improve your reading speed, comprehension and fluency

Math Skills Program –Addition and Subtraction/ multiplication and division – other math concepts can be included

Spelling Improvement Program- improve your spelling skills

Grammar Review Program: work on correcting poor grammar
WHEN: these classes can start anytime- in person or online delivery. Please call to set up a personalized program

The Lacombe Adult Literacy Program
A volunteer-based program funded by the Government of Alberta, we provide Free & Confidential literacy services to Adults in the C ity and County of Lacombe.  We are committed to providing free, individual English language instruction to those needing help learning or improving skills.

Services Available
•  Assistance with speaking, reading, and writing English
•  Assistance with basic match skills
•  Assistance with basic computer skills
•  One-on-one tutoring
•  Small group classes
•  English as a second language

•  Workplace literacy
•  Working with English language learners
•  Plain language

Volunteers are needed!
The literacy program is dependent on generous community volunteers who provide the tutoring services.
Volunteers are provided with training, resources, and continuous support. No previous experience is necessary!
