Supporting Those Who Are Grieving
Do you work with or know someone dealing with loss? Learn how to support them in meaningful and helpful ways. Examine some common beliefs about grieving and what you can say and do to help people you know move through the process of grieving. This includes losing a relationship, a loved one, a job, change in health and so many more events and situations that can leave one feeling uncomfortable or unfamiliar with their new life circumstances. Leave with simple tools you can implement right away.

“Build Your Brain Through Music” This is a presentation that will explore the ability of music to slow the aging process of your brain. Music can lift your mood, improve hearing, memory and concentration as well as support pain control and aide in stress reduction as well as improve your aging brain.

GED Preparation Program
This is a GEP prep program that includes instruction to prepare for the GED exam,for those that are approved for funding the course covers the cost of all materials and resources, the exam fee and 1 re-write. For those that do not qualify, the exam and resources will not be covered but can be paid for by participant. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED –applications need to be in by April 13th 2018

COST: FREE if approved for funding otherwise participant pays for books and exam.

Basic Bookkeeping (Manual)

Adult and Seniors Piano Keyboard Classes:
This six week course is especially designed to build cognitive, memory, aural, and kinesthetic skills. Music can keep us sharp as our brains begin to age, while also improving our moods and quality of life. While learning to read music, you will enjoy working on new or familiar tunes that are fun to play.
